The elections are over. Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by almost 3 million votes.  Donald Trump won the electorial college votes.

Most agree the electorial college system needs to go or be drastically changed. What are the options?  How will we select our future presidents?  And what can be done now to improve our current political systems where the will of some people (the perceived majority) trumps the basic human rights of individuals?  What better systems exist on other worlds?  How do extraterrestrials govern their citizens?

Past shows: 07/31/16

Hosts Janet Kira Lessin & Dr. Sasha Lessin interview presidential candidate Andrew D. Basiago on the Sacred Matrix on Revolution Radio (, Studio B from 8 to 10 PM Eastern time.

Today we discuss Andy’s presidential campaign as a write-in candidate.  Clinton and Trump are unacceptable candidates. There’s a storm gathering and we’re now witnessing the silence before the storm.  Neither of these candidates are worth voting for.  On this show we’ll point out the pros and cons of each candidate. Of the three candidates we’re examining this day, what would 4 years (potentially 8) of their presidencies look like?  How would their policies affect the US and the world? What would our country and planet look like after their rule is over?

Andrew D. Basiago is still a candidate. Today we schmooze about the election from the point of view that Andy is still a candidate and not ready to give a post mortem. It ain’t over till the fat lady things and there are variables still out there which can affect this election in many ways.  Today we focus on the obvious high points. Trump. Clinton. The role of money in our world. Abortion.  How Andy’s campaign has gone. What can be done to improve this election process?  How can we write in candidates when some states will not permit us to write in our true choice for office.  What do we do when we’re stuck between a rock and a hard place, with candidates at the forefront who do not represent our perspectives and best interest?  How do we create a true democracy where everyone’s voice is heard, our human rights respected and basic minimum needs for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness truly get met?

Andy, what do you see for us in the future?  Is there anything you saw when you went to the future that we should know?  In one scenario you described a location where teleportation systems were located in office buildings that were integrated with nature, with no evidence of vehicles other than personal transportation like those individual police scooters.

Andrew D. Basiago: One Man in the Name of Truth

The Mandela Effect: More Proof of Parallel Universes?

By on January 24, 2015

As a follow -up to my post on the Berenst#in Bears problem, I thought this was worth sharing.

Yesterday, I found myself over at the subreddit r/Glitch_in_the_Matrix. And, wouldn’t you know it, the top post over there is about something called the Mandela Effect. This is the apparent name for phenomena like the Berenst#in Bears problem, in which we remember something contrary to reality.

Exploring it further, I found that the name, coined by Fiona Broome, stems from the absurd number of people who seem to “remember” that Nelson Mandela died in prison in the 1980s, and not at his home in Johannesburg in 2013. In fact, there’s even a subreddit dedicated to this kind of stuff at r/MandelaEffect, and you can read Broome’s own website on the subject at

Other examples of this “effect” include a portrait missing from this universe of Henry VIII, in which he’s holding a turkey leg, New Zealand being in a different location, and perhaps strangest of all, the color Chartreuse being “something other than yellow-green.” You can check out Broome’s full list of anomalies here.

Alternate Time Streams or False Memories?

The Mandela Effect: More Proof of Parallel Universes?

However, the problem with something like the Mandela Effect is this: just because you hear something or even see something, that doesn’t mean it’s true.

Sometimes we read something incorrectly, or experience false memories. Sometimes we’re told something, even (well, especially) by the news media, that’s incorrect. We assume it’s true, because why not, and go about our business.

Then, when we later find out that Nelson Mandela has only recently died, or New Zealand is in a different location on the map, or that the Berenstein Bears are actually the Berenstain Bears, this information clashes with what we thought we knew. And if enough people are misinformed about the same topic, I imagine that’s when we run into the so-called Mandela Effect.

In other words, that’s a roundabout way of saying sometimes we’re wrong.

But that’s a boring way to look at things, isn’t it? As I said before, this is an interesting phenomenon, regardless of whether you want to ascribe it to parallel universes or false memories. The brain is a tricky thing, and the universe is trickier. Head over to Mandela Effect, explore the possibilities, and draw your own conclusions.

Do you have any memories that don’t quite mesh with our current reality?
