Finally, we also examine how that globalization will eventually collapse under the weight of its own negativity.

We discuss the word ‘Globalization.’ Just what exactly is ‘Globalization?’ We shall also explore the frightening parallels of ‘Globalization’ with Nazism and Fascism as they manifested themselves in Germany and Italy during the 1930’s and 1940’s.

The Complete Patriot’s Guide to Oligarchical Collectivism: Its Theory and Practice by Ethan Indigo Smith

The Complete Patriot’s Guide to Oligarchical Collectivism: Its Theory and Practice is layered with insight. It is in part a literary exploration of 1984 by George Orwell and what has become known as the book within the book, The Theory and Practice to Oligarchical Collectivism. The Guide explores metaphors and symbolism relative to the fictional book through real history, philosophy and contemporary politics.

The Guide was written to eliminate apathy. It is formatted as a manual with facts and quotes distinct from the text. It is an inspiration for positive, peaceful individual action. The Guide is pro-individual and though political, arrives from neither ardent left wing nor right wing perspective.

The book within the book states there are three types of people based on the fictional set up social structure. Later it is recognized that the book within the book was used by the institutions in control. The Guide is for individuals and is reflective of what the book within the book would be in today’s world. The Guide states there are four types of people in the world based on their reaction to information; idiots, zealots, elitists and patriots.

In 1984 people are forced to live with telescreens on their walls which broadcast and observe. The Guide relates the fictional telescreen to contemporary institutional arrangement and also Socratic philosophy. In The Allegory of the Cave there are four types of people living in a cave, most forced to observe shadows on a wall. Similar relationships to 1984, philosophy, and historical events expand throughout the book.

The four different types of mentality are explored using other universal concepts including Jungian theory, the original characters in Genesis, the adage of the Wise Monkeys and Native American philosophy among them.

After inspiring patriotism, the book explains how to be patriotic via simple actions, historical examples and the First Amendment. The Guide presents patriotic action in five stages exemplified by the Five Freedoms of the First Amendment. The Guide ultimately proposes that the First Amendment presents individual rights in relation to individual empowerment among institutions. The book within the book is supposed to have presented such a formula for individual empowerment, only it is never read. The Complete Patriot’s Guide to Oligarchical Collectivism: its Theory and Practice defines patriotism and inspires individual empowerment.

Outside the Box Thinking April 20, 2010 By Albion Butters

From time to time, I find a book that opens the way I think about the world. This is one such book, and one that I’m very glad I came across. The contents are pretty wide ranging, from the world order and controlling forces around the world through history to larger philosophical issues. For me, many of these things were not new. The selling point of the book for me lies in the fresh look it brings to these problems and the recommendations it gives on how we can bring some change. It is a practical book, informed by a creative spirit and countless priceless nuggets of wisdom. I’ve given it to friends and recommended to others.

At Long Last April 10, 2010 By Nancy A. O’Connell

This is an important book. It made me consider and evaluate everything from a new perspective and redefines personal accountability and responsibility. The time is now and we are finally ready to read, discover and most importantly, question everything we ever thought we knew. Read this – if you dare . . .

A must read for understanding the new world order February 22, 2012 By granolos

Many readers will undoubtedly recognize the homage paid to George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four evident in the title of The Complete Patriot’s Guide to Oligarchical Collectivism: Its Theory and Practice by Ethan. However, for any of those still unfamiliar with Orwell’s seminal masterpiece, this volume stands firmly on its own as an accurate and comprehensive treatise on the past, present and future status of global human politics.  Within this debut literary work Ethan reveals the machinations of societal control that do not simply permeate but, in fact, define the world in which we live. Ethan painstakingly researches and reduces centuries of historical data into a simple template which provides the reader with a way to understand how each or our individual thought processes fit into the complex fabric of our sociopolitical existence.

.
The Complete Patriots Guide to Oligarchical Collectivism: Its Theory and Practice employs a vast array of source material, coupled with a unique insight to break down the human intellect into four distinct categories; the idiot, the zealot, the elitist or the patriot, in regards to how we process the information we are given. Ethan challenges the reader to discover howtheir own thinking fits within the matrix of society created by the varying degrees of these four fundamentally sound definitions. He goes on to draw a conclusion of such elegant simplicity that it would make Einstein proud.
The Complete Patriots Guide to Oligarchical Collectivism: Its Theory and Practice is finely constructed and thought provoking work that would make a perfect addition to any patriot’s collection. So much so that I believe even an idiot could realize this to be true.
